BCAPL Team Captain Wins McDermott Cue in Drawing

Las Vegas, NV. – June 6, 2012 – CueSports International (CSI) wishes to congratulate Tammy Brooks, of the BCAPL sanctioned Rochester Pool League, as the winner of the 36th BCAPL National Championships Team Captain McDermott cue drawing. The drawing was open to all 875 BCAPL Team Captains who participated in the 8-Ball team divisions at the 36th BCAPL National Championships held this past month in Las Vegas.

Brooks was the Team Captain of team “Wanna Check My Rack?” which competed in the Women’s Open Team division. When contacted about winning the commissioned McDermott BCAPL cue, Brooks exuberantly said, “This is great, awesome!”

The special commemorative cue, valued at $495, was specially commissioned by CSI and designed and made by McDermott Handcrafted Cues. It features a Birdseye Maple forearm with 6 Recon Ebony points with Recon Ivory “spear” inlays, a Recon Ebony sleeve with 6 Recon Ivory/Zebrawood “spear” inlays, Zebrawood / silver rings, the McDermott G-Core Shaft, and a black and white Irish linen wrap.
