ESPN The Magazine Presents its Second Annual ‘Body Issue’

Featuring Six Cover Athletes: Diana Taurasi, Tim Howard, Esther Vergeer, Amar’e Stoudemire, Camilo Villegas and the USA Women’s Water Polo Team

ESPN The Magazine’s “Body Issue,” on newsstands tomorrow, Oct. 8, features nearly 40 athletes from a variety of sports, including six cover athletes: Diana Taurasi, Tim Howard, Esther Vergeer, Amar’e Stoudemire, Camilo Villegas and the USA Women’s Water Polo Team. The issue is a celebration and exploration of the athletic form shown through artistic photos, insightful articles and in-depth interviews.

The “Bodies We Want” photo feature spotlights some of the world’s best athletes as you’ve never seen them before, including linebacker Patrick Willis, skier Julia Mancuso, surfer Kelly Slater, U.S. figure skater Evan Lysacek and mixed martial artist/former NFL running back Herschel Walker.
