Josh Brothers went undefeated through the strong field at the Mezz Pro-Am Tour’s September 12 stop to pull off the win and earn the title. The $1,000-added tournament was hosted by Main Line Billiards Club in Frazer, PA.

Brothers, who led the top half of the bracket, scored victories over Adbellatif Chamseddine 7-3, Derek Schwager 7-2, Shaun Dobson 7-3, and Manny Chau 7-2. Leading the bottom half of the bracket was Matt Krah, who had wins over Mark Steward 7-4, Samantha Miskevich 7-0, Don Steele 7-2, and Scott Freeman 7-3.

Krah and Brothers met in the match for the hot seat, and Brothers was in utter control, easily winning 7-1 and sending Krah to the one-loss side of the chart. Chau awaited Krah there, and their semifinal match went hill-hill before Krah edged him out 7-6 to return to face Brothers again.

In the true double-elimination finals, Krah would have had to defeat Brothers twice to take the title. He put up a good fight in the first set, but in the end it was Brothers who pulled off the win 7-5 to earn the victory.
