After a trip north to Ohio, the Great Southern Billiard Tour returned to its roots in the South as its most recent event kicked off at The Palace in Greenville, SC, the weekend of May 16-17.  A great turnout of 55 players showed up to play in the two-day handicapped tournament to see who will take home the $1,000 first-place prize.  Notable “A” players who showed up to play are Jim Jennings, Landon Shuffett, Matt Bulfin, Ray Benish, Matt Mancini, and Steve Cox.  This tournament is played using the GSBT’s popular A/B handicapping system. “A” players go to 9, while “B” players race to 7, giving all players a fair chance to do well.
